Privacy Policy

PopJot is designed with your privacy in mind. All notes, folders, and content you create are stored locally on your device. We do not operate any servers that store, sync, or have access to your notes, and we do not require you to create an account or provide any personal information to use the App.

We do not collect, request, or store:

• Your name, email address, or phone number
• Account credentials or login information
• The content of your notes
• Cloud backups of your notes (unless you manually export or back them up yourself through your device's own backup tools, such as Google Drive backup, which is governed by Google's privacy policy, not ours)

PopJot displays advertisements through Google AdMob, a service provided by Google. To deliver and measure ads, Google AdMob and its partners may automatically collect certain information from your device, which may include:

• Advertising identifiers (such as your Android Advertising ID)
• Device information (device type, operating system version, language settings)
• IP address and approximate location derived from it
• App interaction data related to ads (impressions, clicks)

This data is collected and processed by Google, not by PopJot directly. We do not have access to, and do not store, this information ourselves. Google's use of this data is governed by the Google Privacy Policy and, where applicable, the Google AdMob and Ad Manager Privacy & Security page.

Depending on your region, Google AdMob may also rely on frameworks such as the Digital Services Act, GDPR, or CCPA to obtain consent or provide opt-out mechanisms for personalized ads. Where required, PopJot will present a consent prompt (via Google's User Messaging Platform or similar) before loading personalized ads.

You can generally limit ad personalization through your device settings:

• Android: Settings > Google > Ads > "Opt out of Ads Personalization" (or "Delete advertising ID," depending on your Android version)

Opting out will not stop ads from appearing but will limit how they are personalized to you.

Since all note content stays on your device, its security depends on your device's own security measures (such as your device lock screen, encryption, and any backup settings you control). We recommend keeping your device's operating system up to date and using a secure lock method.

PopJot does not knowingly direct advertising or collect information from children in a manner inconsistent with applicable laws such as COPPA. If PopJot is used by children, ad personalization and data collection through AdMob are subject to Google's policies regarding child-directed treatment, which may limit ad personalization automatically for apps marked as child-directed.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices or for legal reasons. Any changes will be posted with a revised "Last updated" date at the top of this page.
